Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, in 1966. She is a model and an Irish actress. Her debut film performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989, her role as Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film 1985) She went on to play the Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donovan was Charlotte on Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Approached by a photographer Doody took up modelling that eventually led to the profession of commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or nude work a clause which allowed her to pursue an acting career. She accepted a small role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill after she was spotted by the director of casting. She also appeared alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most notable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. In the film, she also appeared alongside Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody is a co-star with three actors in the role of James Bond. In 2010, Doody was a character on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). She guested in RTE's the medical thriller The Clinic. The project was later canceled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). She received the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on 21 November 2018.
